The concept of Extinction Pools was adapted from DinoSwap. They allow you to sacrifice your deposit in exchange for yield!

In Extinction Pools, users permanently sacrifice tokens (100% deposit fee) in exchange for yield:

• The entire deposit is sacrificed and not returned to the depositor

• The extinction pool reward is given at a certain total rate for a certain duration

• The reward can be any token, but there is a preminted J token supply for Extinction

• The code has a toggle for whether pools use preminted or non-preminted J

• Extinction pools do not affect the emissions of regular farms or pools

Unlike DinoSwap, our Extinction Pools can offer any token as a reward!

Extinction Pools can be strategically valuable in many ways:

• Raises funds for Revenue Sharing

• When the reward token is non-native, can be used to remove native tokens from the market

• Can be used to reward ownership equity (JO tokens)
